Somewhere out past where the road stops, there’s a sound, a place where the music can be loud and itself. The sound we wanted didn’t live in a venue, it lived in a field at an hour somewhere between the last song and the first bird.

The music we play doesn’t belong to a genre so much as it belongs to a feeling, a memory half awake.

Whatever you hear recorded after the fact is only the shadow, so don’t mistake the echo for the source. Take it apart, chop it, loop it, drag it into your own head and make it yours, none of this was ever locked up and none of it ever will be.
